Metal Roofing

metal roofing

A roof of durability, strength and fire resistance. There are two types of metal panels; standing seam and exposed fasteners. These types of roofs typically come in two gauges; 26 and 24 gauge. Both types of panels are installed vertically, the full length of the roof and overlapping one another. Standing seam has concealed fasteners and the exposed fastener panel is what its name implies. Metal roofing also comes in shingle form and is made of a thinner gauge metal then the panels. Metal shingles are embossed with a pattern that is used to emulate other types of roofing. All metal roofing comes in a variety of colors and finish types. The life expectancy of a metal roof can be up to 50 years or more.
